Hon. (Barr.) Sunday Marshall Katung

Sunday Marshall Katung (born 1 April 1961; in Madakiya (Batadon), southern Kaduna State, Nigeria) is a Nigerian politician and lawyer.[1] He was a one-term member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Jaba/Zangon Kataf Federal constituency of Kaduna State.

Katung was born on April 1, 1961, in Madakiya, defunct Northern Region (now in Zangon Kataf LGA of southern Kaduna State), Nigeria.

He attended Kufena College, Wusasa Zaria from 1975 to 1980; then proceeded to the College of Arts & Science, Zaria, from 1980-1982. He afterwards attended the University of Lagos, Akoka, from 1982-1986 and the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos from 1986-1987.

The MASHALL KATUNG FOUNDATION seeks to fund projects designed to improve education and also have a greater impact on the community. Our activities will focus on improving students achievement and teacher leadership. SMF desires to make lifetime investments on supporting children to acquire educational. We intend to touch lives through qualitative education.

HEALTH

The Foundation will largely invest in primary health care of the people. Our dream is to initiate and sustain country-led health reforms. With this fundamental philosophy in mind, Marshal Katung Foundation will work to create and reinforce humane and comprehensive health policies.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

To see and contribute to communities, harness the unlimited but untapped capacity of Women and youths in providing simple, homegrown solutions to communities basic socio-economic challenges that include access to clean water, education, healthcare and entrepreneurship.
